When it comes to your health, we don’t guess, we test!

Starting Care

1

Before Your First Visit.

We would love to learn more about you, so one of our Chiropractic Advocates will give you a call to understand why you are interested in joining our practice, review your first visit, and answer any questions you may have. Once your appointment is scheduled you’ll be sent paperwork via email to fill out all of the additional information we need. The Doctors will thoroughly review everything you have provided prior to your visit.

We can’t wait to finally meet you in person!

2

Your First Visit.

We pride ourselves in creating a comfortable, healing environment that feels homey and fun for you and your entire family. You will get a tour to introduce you to our space and sit down with one of the doctors to explain what brings you in for your visit and understand what may be creating your symptoms. At Tree of Life Chiropractic, we truly care about your health goals and ask you to provide as much additional detail as you can about your individual needs and concerns.

Next, we will perform a detailed assessment utilizing our state of the art INSiGHT technology. This is our way to assess your nervous system and see how your body is adapting and handling stress. This neuro-spinal assessment is an extremely important part of our initial intake process as we are able to test, rather than guess, how your nervous system is doing.

Once your history and scans are finished, we will be sure to leave time at the end of this appointment to answer any questions you have. Please allot the appropriate time needed, as the first appointment will take approximately 45-60 minutes from start to finish!

3

Your Second Visit.

By the time we see you for your second visit to the office, the doctors will have thoroughly reviewed your initial history and scans.

When you arrive, the best part of your care will begin, you will sit down and discuss your scans! Our doctors will be sure you understand how to interpret these scans and what the results of each mean to your health. We will determine if we can help as well as how long it will take for us to reach the goals you've set out to achieve. A detailed explanation of the financial requirements for your personalized care plan will also be reviewed at this time.

Please note that this appointment can take anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes.

Our INSiGHT Scans

The INSiGHT scans consist of three separate exams which tell us how STRESS is impacting your overall health and well-being. They detect where and how deep the problem is and the combination of all three scans accurately determines how efficiently your nervous system is functioning.

We live our entire lives through our nervous system. All of our senses, cells, organs and glands function with the guidance of our nervous system. Each scan gives insight into how your nervous system is communicating through your daily stressors. Why wouldn’t you want to make sure your nervous system is functioning optimally? This is why INSiGHT scans are so important!

Your body is continuously running through your Autonomic Nervous System. Your brain interprets your external stressors with input from your senses. Your brain then will respond through your muscles by creating tension or a protective response to that stress. By adding tension in areas your brain feels need to change your muscles will pull on your joints creating movement. Your joints then will provide information back to the brain indicating the movement has occurred.

Unfortunately, our bodies can become restricted or fixated (subluxated) preventing the movement your brain wants stimulating a stress response on your entire nervous system. Each adjustment is focused on creating movement and optimizing your ability to deal with stress allowing your symptoms to disappear. This is why we use the INSiGHT scans! They allow us to piece together the full story of how your brain, muscles, and joints are all working in unison to provide the most optimal response to adapt to your every day stressors.

Regularly Scheduled Appointments

Once you have started care, you will be scheduled for regular visits to achieve your health goals. Determined by your history and your scans, a specific frequency will be recommended at your second visit. Just like learning any skill or training for any activity your body needs time and repetition to fully integrate the changes your body needs to achieve those goals.

In order to continue to understand the progress you are making through your care another INSiGHT scan will be performed every 12 visits. This not only allows you to see the changes you are making but also lets the doctors know if you are on the right track or if changes to your care plan should be made.

Through multiple scans of your nervous system we are able to provide the best possible care by having a visual understanding of how your body is adapting to your adjustments. This allows us to make more specialized and specific adjustments.

Do you accept insurance?

We work for YOU not an insurance premium therefore we are not in network with insurance. We strive to provide you with the best quality care while keeping it affordable, especially for families!

We are a cashed based wellness office serving whole families. By not billing insurance this allows us to create a unique and affordable care plan for each of our practice members. We offer payment plans for both individuals and families to help meet everyone’s needs.

Why is sticking to your recommended care plan important?

We recommend a unique care plan to each individual in our office based on your goals for care and your scans. We usually start off with more frequent adjustments at the beginning and then back off the frequency over time. This is because stress and tension has been building up in your nervous system for some time and it requires repeated adjustments over a period of time to actually make a change to your nervous system.

It is a lot like going to the gym. You cant just build up a strong muscle in one trip to the gym, it takes repeated workouts to actually see a change in the muscles. Adjustments work very similarly to this and although we would love to achieve your goals in one adjustment that is not possible. It is therefore important that you stick to your care plan if you want to get the most out of your care.
